Product description
Give your child fun, confidence, and progress – with the Bent JR from Atomic!
The perfect ski for young adventurers
Are you looking for the ideal ski for your child that combines playful riding, safety, and real fun? The Atomic Bent JR is just the right ski for kids aged 5 to 8 who want to build confidence all over the mountain – whether on the slopes, in powder, or in the terrain park.
Lightweight, robust, and playful
Thanks to its wider 85mm waist, the Bent JR offers extra stability and better float in deeper snow – perfect for first off-piste excursions. The Dura Cap construction makes the ski particularly light, durable, and resilient – ideal for long days in the snow and learning new tricks.
The all-rounder for young ski fans
Whether it's first jumps in the park, turns on the slopes, or fun in fresh powder: the Bent JR is a true all-rounder. With its effortless handling and superior control, it ensures rapid learning success and tons of fun on the mountain.
Your child deserves more than just an "ordinary" kids' ski. The Atomic Bent JR combines quality, safety, and a sense of adventure – turning every skier into a little freeride hero.
A foam core that’s agile and dampens vibrations – for effortless skiing.
Minimal tail rocker for more edge contact creating better grip and stability.
Sidewall from base to top sheet, for controlled power transmission and great edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dura Cap is a fantastic durability feature as it picks up fewer dents and dings
For piste or powder: early front bend or front and rear – for high versatility
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A dull edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and will skid through a turn. An edge that is too sharp will grab and catch the snow surface creating unstable performance. The Atomic skis are prepared with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from the Atomic factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise base edge bevel for specific performance characteristics. Base edge angles between 0.8° and 1.6° lightly lift the ski edges off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
