Towards the head of the valley , this loop starts off leisurely before crossing to the other side of the Saalach after just under 1 km and the first meters of as cent are imminent. The motto here is to manage your energy properly , because the next 900 meters of ascent are quite a challenge. Follow the forest road in a constant gradient past the Pfefferalm, Wieseralm and the Rosswaldhütte, which invite you to recharge your batteries at good intervals.
If you finally pass the mountain station Hochalm, which is located just a few meters below the Reichkendlkopf (1941 m), the uphill part is almost done and is rewarded by the sweeping view over the Glemmtal . The now flowing high alpine trail from the Spieleck mountain station follows the bath of emotions and makes you forget the previous exertions.
The last part downhill you follow the forest road towards the end of the valley, then it goes with the route Forsthofalm-Runde (SH06) running parallel on the Glemmtal bike path back to the starting point Hinterglemm.
