contour is the culmination of more than 40 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of climbing skins. Back in 1975, we started manufacturing them ourselves in our family-run business in Tirol.

hybrid glue technology made by contour

contour has developed the hybrid glue technology which you not only find on contour skins. hybrid is the first ever twin layered adhesive technology for climbing skins. The upper layer sticks the skin firmly to the ski even at low temperatures and is removed with ease without leaving any residue on the ski base.

The lower layer binds the upper layer of adhesive to the skin backing. 
The result: hybrid technology boasts all qualities of hot melt and ‚glueless‘ skins combined.
