Product description
The K2 Wayback 88 ski touring set offers an excellent balance of lightness, stability and versatility, perfect for ski tourers who expect top performance on both steep ascents and descents.
The Wayback 88 touring skis impress with their manoeuvrability and stability in the terrain, while the TÜV-certified Look HM 12 touring binding ensures maximum safety and precision. The set is complemented by the Wayback 88 touring skins, which ensure optimum grip and efficient gliding. With the practical bag, the set is also extremely easy to transport. Ideal for all those who don't want to compromise on their tours.
The Wayback 88 presents a new technology with the Steadfast Base - Glide Better, Longer.
It’s hard to believe something this light can still deliver on the descents. The Titanal-reinforced Wayback 88 will change your opinion of featherweight touring skis. They can fly up the skin track with the best of ‘em, yet inspire confidence when the snow is variable and the descents are steep. Why hike all that way if you’re not gonna have fun on the way down?
The set comes with the Look HM 12 touring binding, a lightweight, high-performance freetouring binding.
The frameless design weighs only 1270 g per pair and offers natural flex for more downhill performance. The toe piece with pin technology allows for greater elasticity, guaranteeing skiers reliable support and precise release. TÜV-approved for use with ski boots equipped with ‘Dynafit-certified’ inserts. Identical in construction to the Dynafit ST Rotation
The Sport Bittl ski skin from KOHLA was developed for frequent use.
The balanced combination of gliding and climbing properties make this skin an all-rounder. The proven hotmelt adhesive has a wide range of applications. Whether on the piste or in open terrain. The robust and established cotton-polyester construction ensures good durability of the climbing skins. The Kohla hotmelt mixture ensures uncompromising grip on the ski in all weather conditions. The perfect all-round skin for beginners. The skin has been adapted to the waist of the ski model. The built-in Z-hook was made for skis with a hole/insert in the shovel. After use, you can store your skins in the practical Sport Bittl skin bag. To give you even more information, you can find the table of the avalanche danger scale here.
