Product description

The K2 Wayback 96 touring ski set with the Marker Alpinist 12 pin binding and Sport Bittl touring skins from KOHLA is the ideal ski touring set-up for anyone looking for a high-performance, lightweight and versatile set.

The Wayback 96 ski impresses with its stability and manoeuvrability, the Marker Alpinist 12 binding ensures precise power transmission and safety, and the KOHLA skins offer you excellent grip and glide. This set guarantees you an efficient ascent and maximum skiing fun on your next ski tour - whether on long routes in open terrain or on steep descents through deep snow. With this set, you are perfectly equipped for every adventure!

Strapped up with T3 Technology – that’s metal-laden construction – the Wayback 96 touring ski offers uncompromised downhill capabilities in a super-light package.

Whether you’re on a multi-day hut trip or pushing out for a quick dawn patrol, the Wayback 96 offers the best stability-to-weight ratio on the market. Efficient on the way up, while still inspiring confidence on the way down.

The set comes with the ultra-light Marker Alpinist 12 pin binding, offering everything experienced touring skiers need.

Its construction allows active length compensation without aff ecting the ski’s flex. A very stiff, carbon-reinforced front with an ISI toe piece makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimised pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. The heel features 0°, 5° and 9° climbing aids and can be switched quickly and easily from ascent to descent mode. A 38mm wide hole pattern transfers power brilliantly to the edges, which means control and great steering.

The Sport Bittl ski skin from KOHLA was developed for frequent use.

The Sport Bittl ski skin from KOHLA was developed for frequent use. The coordinated combination of gliding and climbing properties make this skin an all-rounder. The proven hotmelt adhesive has a wide range of applications. Whether on the piste or in open terrain. The robust and established cotton-polyester construction ensures good durability of the climbing skins. The Kohla hotmelt mixture ensures uncompromising grip on the ski in all weather conditions. The perfect all-round skin for beginners. The skin has been adapted to the waist of the ski model. The built-in Z-hook was made for skis with a hole/insert in the shovel. After use, you can store your skins in the practical Sport Bittl skin bag. For even better information, you can find the table of the avalanche danger scale here.
