Glide & Float: Is the most important attribute of climbing skins.

Skins that glide easily facilitate a perfect skinning technique where you slide the skis rather than lift them.
This will help you to consume less energy, help you climb safer and easier,so that you can enjoy more of
the ogso on the way down. Glide characteristics of your skins are determined through the length of the
hairs|fibers|filaments, the angle in which the fibers are woven, and finally the uniformity (glattheit) from
each single fiber. Those that glide better have lower profile and are more closely shorn.

Grip& Safe: Skins are made to grip.
That is their initial purpose. It is conceivable that the angle at which the fibers protrude from the weaving fabric, effect in one direction the glide and in the opposite direction the grip.
