1. What are the discount scales?

We reward your loyalty with up to 15% discount* on your purchase. The scales are as follows:

• 10%* basic discount from your first purchase
• 15%* discount from an annual turnover of EUR 1,000,-

The assessment basis for the discount granted is the turnover achieved in the previous year - from March 1st to Febraury 28th/29th of the following year. *Bicycles, SUP's, boats and surfing equipment are discounted with a maximum of 10%. Excluded from the discount are books, articles under EUR 10,-, electronics, services and reduced goods as well as our set offers. There is no discount when purchasing value coupons.  

2. Where do I see my annual turnover?

In your customer account, we record all your purchases, no matter if they were made in a store or online. Here, you always have insight into your discount scale. Your discount is continuously updated throughout the year and is automatically deducted with every purchase you make. 

3. E-mail address not specified?

You already have a Sport Bittl advantage card, but we don't know your e-mail address yet? You are welcome to enter it the next time you visit one of our stores. If you agree, you will regularly receive our newsletter with all information about new collections, products, events in the stores and special offers at Sport Bittl.

4. You are already with the Sport Bittl PRO loyalty program - but don't have an account in the online store yet?

No problem! You only need your e-mail address and customer number. You can find the customer number on your advantage card. If you're not sure which e-mail address you used to register, just contact our customer service or ask our team while shopping in one of our stores. This way we can make sure that you benefit from your current turnover and your discount scale on online purchases and that all data is correct.

With your e-mail address and customer number you can reach your goal in 3 steps:

1.) Log in with your e-mail address and customer number here under "You are already a customer with us". As soon as you have entered your e-mail address, the field "Password" changes to "Customer number".

Conditions of participation

The following terms and conditions govern the relationship between you as a member of the Sport Bittl PRO Advantage Program and bittl Schuhe + Sport GmbH, Georg-Reismüller-Str. 5, 80999 Munich (hereinafter also referred to as “Sport Bittl”).

1. Your Membership

1.1. By participating, you can collect sales when purchasing goods at Sport Bittl.

1.2. Any natural person over the age of 18 may participate. Participation is free of charge.

1.3. For participation, you will be assigned a customer number. Upon request, you may also receive a customer card. The customer number or customer card will be created and handed over immediately. If you already have a customer number or an advantage card from Sport Bittl, a new issue is not required for participation in the program.

2. Your Personal Sales Account and Registration

2.1. As part of the Advantage Program, Sport Bittl will maintain your personal sales account. Your sales account allows you to view your collected sales as well as further information about current benefits and promotions.

2.2. To create a personal customer account, register either in our online shop or directly in one of our stores. Multiple registrations by the same person are not permitted.

2.3. Your personal customer account will record the already discounted purchase prices paid by you using your customer number or customer card, so that your total sales are always visible.

3. Collecting Sales and Benefits

3.1. Sales can only be collected through the purchase of goods. Payments for Sport Bittl services as well as the purchase of vouchers are not eligible.

3.2. Discount levels as a Sport Bittl PRO member:

• 10%* basic discount from your first purchase
• 15%* from EUR 1,000 annual sales

Excluded from discounts are items up to EUR 10 as well as electronics, books, services, and other non-goods services, reduced items, and set offers. Bicycles, SUPs, boats, and surf items are discounted at a maximum of 10%.

No discount is granted on the purchase of vouchers.

4. Sales Balance

4.1. You may view your current sales account and its development at any time online in your customer account (login required) or inquire at a Sport Bittl store.

4.2. Any objections regarding the accuracy or completeness of your sales balance must be submitted to Sport Bittl with proof of invoice or receipt within six months of the respective purchase. If proof is provided in due time, Sport Bittl is obliged to adjust the sales balance accordingly.

5. Discount Modalities

Your discount will be continuously updated throughout the year and automatically deducted from your purchase. The basic discount is 5%. Your personal starting discount (the discount level applied to your purchases based on your collected sales) is recalculated each year. The calculation basis for your personal starting discount in the following year is your total sales from March 1 of one year to February 28 (or February 29 in a leap year) of the following year – starting from March 1, 2017. Upon the start of your participation, the starting discount is 10%*.

6. Card Loss

If you lose your advantage card after your personal sales account has been created, you may request a new card from Sport Bittl in writing.

7. Card or Customer Number Misuse

The advantage card/customer number is personal and non-transferable. Passing on the card/number to third parties, especially to allow them to benefit from discounts, is not permitted. Sport Bittl is entitled to request proof of authorization by means of an identification document when the card/number is used. In case of violation, Sport Bittl is entitled to exclude the customer from further participation in the program.

8. Start, Termination, and Amendments of the Advantage Program

We reserve the right to discontinue the Advantage Program with reasonable notice, or without such notice if there is an important reason, while taking your interests into account. We further reserve the right to supplement or amend these terms and conditions if necessary for simple and secure handling, particularly to prevent misuse. Any changes or additions will be communicated to you in writing via notices posted at the checkouts in Sport Bittl stores as well as on our website. They will be deemed approved if you do not object to Sport Bittl in writing within two weeks after your first purchase under the amended terms and conditions. An objection simultaneously constitutes termination.

Privacy Information for the Loyalty Program

Your data is processed by Sport Bittl for the execution of the loyalty program (e.g., discount calculation, customer account) in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, if you participate in it. If you additionally give consent above, we use your data for advertising via email and, if applicable, by post (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and may also evaluate it partly within the scope of our legitimate interests for personalizing advertising/newsletters addressed to you or send you (possibly personalized) direct marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). As part of the loyalty program, we offer you attractive discounts, special promotions, and benefits depending on your purchases.

Within the loyalty program, the data you provide during registration (in particular, name, address, date of birth, and, if applicable, email address), hereinafter referred to as "basic data," as well as "purchase data," i.e., data generated at Sport Bittl when using your customer card or number (products/services, price, location, and time of the transaction), are processed.

This data is collected for the execution of the loyalty program and is stored and used for processing the program (crediting, debiting, billing, and management of purchases). Your data is collected, stored, processed, and used exclusively for Sport Bittl's own marketing actions, particularly newsletters, SMS, and phone campaigns with information about new products and offers, discount promotions, events, and competitions, and is only transmitted to commissioned service providers for storage, processing, and use for the purposes mentioned above on behalf of Sport Bittl, provided you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

If you additionally or already have a personal customer account, the purchase data accumulated up to that point and future purchases will be linked to it and stored and used for the purpose of program management. This allows you to secure your purchases or purchase history in case of card loss and provides up-to-date access to your accumulated purchases, as well as additional information about current benefits and promotions.

Furthermore, your data is internally analyzed, partly through profiling, to provide you with personalized offers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you have consented to the use of your data for advertising and market research purposes, Sport Bittl may send you advertising by post, during visits to the online shop, and – if you have subscribed to the email service – also by email (e.g., new product information, special offers, coupons, discount promotions, etc.) tailored to your individual interests, selected using the basic data you provided during registration. Our newsletters can be personalized based on your user behavior. For this purpose, we evaluate open and click rates and store this in a personal recipient profile. Your data may also be used for market research purposes. You can revoke your consent at any time in writing to bittl Schuhe + Sport GmbH, Georg-Reismüller-Str. 5, 80999 Munich. If you have not given consent or revoke it, no data processing will take place as described in the above paragraphs.

Direct Marketing and Your Right to Object
Furthermore, we reserve the right to use your first and last name, email address, and postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g., to send you interesting offers and information about our products. This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in advertising to our customers under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with §7(3) UWG. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact options described in this privacy policy, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs.
