The lightweight 2.5-layer jacket with a recycled Ceplex Green membrane from S-Cafe® and welded seams is extremely breathable, windproof and waterproof. On high-energy tours, a print on the inside of the jacket keeps the material from sticking to your skin so you'll always feel dry. An elastane blend provides additional freedom of movement while riding. With reflective elements. Made from a material certified by the strict bluesign® system environmental standard, it's comfortably lightweight and offers maximum functionality. Eco Finish
VAUDE products bearing the Eco Finish been waterproofed in an environmentally-friendly way without fl uorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
Ceplex Green
Ceplex Green is a top-quality membrane – permanently waterproof, highly breathable and windproof. It has a min. water column of 15,000 m (JIS L 1092 B). Ceplex Green does not contain PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and replaces currently oil-based PU (polyurethane) with a minimum of 25% renewable or recycled raw materials. This provides significant benefits in terms of energy and resource consumption.
Recycled Materials
VAUDE uses recycled materials (e.g. from PET-bottles) in the manufacture of this product. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO2 emissions as well as fossil raw materials.
S-Cafe®
Recycled coffee grounds is converted into a high-tech material, known as S.Café®, by means of a patented method. S.Café® is: fastdrying, odour-inhibiting, UV resistant and environmentally friendly.
