The new Racetiger SC with tip rocker is built for super fast and agile turns while still providing lots of riding comfort. This impressive combination is possible due to integration of 3D.Glass, Powered by Steel and new sidecuts with matching flex and tip geometry, topped off with the UVO 3D. The UVO creates a significant vibration dampening of the ski. The 3D.Glass construction features fiberglass layers running three dimensionally over the ski instead of the usual horizontal-only webbings. This allows more pop and a sharp edge change and grip.
The vMotion3 binding with GripWalk option makes sure the whole power gets transferred from the boot to the ski.

UVO is the first freely rotating, 360° vibration damper to apply cutting-edge vibration dampening technology to minimizing disruptive ski vibration. The terrain or surface below the ski inevitably generates vibrations, which in turn set the shovel in particular into motion in all directions. This significantly disrupts the smoothness of the ski-ride, and makes it harder to hold an edge. The revolutionary UVO technology counteracts this, with proven dampening or reduction of vibrations in the horizontal and vertical directions as well as along the length of the ski. The ride becomes smoother and the edge grip improves.

3D.GLASS is Völkl’s latest development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

A steel layer in the ski provides very good durability, controlled flex and smooth skiing in faster speeds.
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls
A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
The full sensor construction features hard wood in the binding area but - contrary to the speedwall wood core - under the screws and in the outer areas a lighter wood. This results in a very sporty and agile skiing characteristics, especially suited for youngsters and freeriders.
Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape.
