It is the ideal choice for demanding ski tourers who are looking for a reliable, lightweight and high-performance set that fulfils the highest demands in terms of efficiency and skiing fun.

The Völkl Rise 84 is the ideal touring ski for the classic touring skier, due to the medium tailing of 84 mm it is uncomplicated in the ascent and still has a good performance on the descent.

When your main focus is on the ascent but you’re still looking for a ski with great riding performance, the Rise 84 is the perfect choice. The hybrid Tourlite wood core enables us to produce the ski at a very low weight while still providing reliable downhill performance. Thanks to the full sidewall, the ski offers good stability and resilience. The Rise 84 naturally also features the Smart Skinclip system, which is compatible with both Tech Fibre and Smart Glue skins.

The set comes with the Fischer Tour Speed Turn touring binding.

The Fischer Tour Speed Turn is the perfect companion for all ambitious ski tourers. The Speed Turn binding was developed for ambitious ski tourers and impresses as an extremely robust partner with a low-wear design. With the Speed Turn, you have a durable and virtually indestructible partner at your side that will accompany you everywhere and bring speed to your project. The Speed Turn binding offers 25 mm of leeway in the length adjustment, allowing it to be adapted to different sole lengths. The Speed binding has two climbing aids that can be easily turned with the pole. The release values are fully adjustable laterally and vertically from DIN 4-10. Crampons can be attached for extra safety in icy or slippery conditions. The binding does not have a ski stopper, but is supplied with a safety strap as standard.

Identical in construction to the Dynafit Speed Turn Like all DYNAFIT bindings, the Speed Turn is developed and manufactured in Germany and comes with the DYNAFIT Lifetime Guarantee. Speed Turn - The mountains of this world are waiting.

New optimized Smart Glue technology combines trusted hot melt adhesion with faciliated handling forces.

A 2-layer Fiber Seal construction without cotton works water repelling, prevents glopping and lets the skin dry quicker. The skins are laser cut for a precise and robust outline. The 70/30 Mohair mix is the perfect combination of gliding and tracking.

Smart Clip System allows the skier to put on or pull off the skin in both directions, depending on the situation.

Tourlite Woodcore
Tourlite Woodcore:

The combination of beech under the binding and poplar plus paulownia in the outer areas results in a very lightweight woodcore construction which proved to work especially well for touring skis.

Ice Off Topsheet
Ice Off Topsheet:

Topsheet technology to reduce the weight of the ski when skiing and hiking. Will reduce the snow attachment to the ski at an average of 20% to 30%.
The next step in effective weight reduction. ICE.OFF stands for the latest topsheet technology on the Völkl touring skis. The unique surface structure and material composition reduces icing as the snow simply slides off the topsheet. This leads to a drastic reduction of weight in use, on average up to 20% to 30%. In addition, mainly white graphics support the anti-icing effect. Lighter skis prevent fatigue, especially on long and steep uphill sections.

Tip Rocker
Tip Rocker:

Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape. The Völkl rocker construction is directly integrated into the production cycle, so the rocker shape doesn’t need to be bent afterwards, which makes the matching between the rocker and the other components much more harmonized and precise:
