Product description

The Völkl Rise 84 Yellow 22/23 ski touring set is the perfect choice for ski tourers looking for a lightweight, powerful and versatile ski touring package.

The Rise 84 touring ski delivers outstanding performance on the ascent and descent, while the Marker Alpinist Demo 10 binding impresses with its safety and precision. The set is rounded off by the Völkl Rise 84 touring skins, which ensure excellent grip and high efficiency. With this set, you can master your tours with ease, comfort and maximum control - from the summit to the valley.

If the focus is on the ascent, but the ski must still have very good downhill characteristics, then the Rise 84 is the first choice.

The curve behavior of the ski is adjusted in this way by the dominant waist radius depending on the angle of upturn. As a result, the ski impresses with particularly smooth running at high speeds and with a pronounced resistance to interference even in demanding off-piste conditions. The particularly lightweight, multi-layer wood core makes it possible to produce the ski with amazingly low weight and reliable downhill performance. Thanks to the continuous sidewall, the ski is stable and resilient. The Rise 84 is also naturally equipped with the new Smart Skinclip system and allows the use of Tech-Fibre or Smart-Glue skins.

The set comes with the ultra-light and durable Marker Alpinist Demo 10 touring pin binding.

A very light, rugged pin binding with ISI toe piece, quickly adjustable to a wide range of sole lengths. Super-light pin binding designed for rentals and featuring a comfortable ISI toe piece, pre-mounted brake and an adjustment range for sole lengths from 253 to 359 mm. It sits on a weight-optimised plate with a scratch-proof scale and can be adjusted without tools, simply by pressing a lever. The boot is automatically positioned and aligned on the wide footprint with integrated stop. Kinematically optimised pin levers allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. Like the other Alpinists, the Demo features active length compensation in the ski flex area and impressive power transmission during descents thanks to a 38 mm wide hole pattern. The heel features 0°, 5° and 9° climbing aids and can be switched quickly and easily between ascent and descent mode.

Caution!

Marker Alpinist and Alpinist Long Travel ski bindings are compatible with ski boots in accordance with DIN ISO 0523 with tech inserts to the Dynafit specification of 29.09.2009. In addition, some boot manufacturers have developed and manufactured their own inserts for their touring ski boots which should be suitable fo Pin-Tech bindings. However, Marker cannot guarantee that these inserts will fundtion correctly.

Caution:

Marker Alpinist ski bindings do not have a certificate from TÜV and thus do not meet the relevant standards. The product meets the current technical requirements using the latest technology

New optimized Smart Glue technology of the Völkl Rise 84 touring skins combines trusted hot melt adhesion with faciliated handling forces.

A 2-layer Fiber Seal construction without cotton works water repelling, prevents glopping and lets the skin dry quicker. The skins are laser cut for a precise and robust outline. The 70/30 Mohair mix is the perfect combination of gliding and tracking. Smart Clip System allows the skier to put on or pull off the skin in both directions, depending on the situation.

Tourlite Woodcore
Tourlite Woodcore:

The combination of beech under the binding and poplar plus paulownia in the outer areas results in a very lightweight woodcore construction which proved to work especially well for touring skis.

P-Tex 2100
P-Tex 2100:

A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Tip Rocker
Tip Rocker:

Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape. The Völkl rocker construction is directly integrated into the production cycle, so the rocker shape doesn’t need to be bent afterwards, which makes the matching between the rocker and the other components much more harmonized and precise:
