The Racetiger models for the up-and-coming U14 and U16 classes that demand full performance feature Multilayer Woodcore, 2-ply Titanal and the special Völkl GS Race edge tuning. The two U14 lengths 174 cm & 178 cm come with pre-mounted UVO 3D and Marker World Cup Raceplate. For the U16 class, the two longer lengths 183cm and 188 cm have been completely reworked, incorporating the latest technology & geometries: the Tailored Carbon Tips provide the athlete with maximum reliability and directness in the shovel response and support a round, dynamic and harmonious curve as it progresses. The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.

The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on the top of the Völkl line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.

Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape. The Völkl rocker construction is directly integrated into the production cycle, so the rocker shape doesn’t need to be bent afterwards, which makes the matching between the rocker and the other components much more harmonized and precise:
