Product description

The Tecton impresses the powder fan not only with the best downhill performance. New adjustment range up to DIN 13 for even more power and safety in powder.

On the steepest slopes, it gives a secure hold and only releases when it really has to. It is just as strong on the ascent. The light weight and easy operation make all powder slopes effortlessly accessible.
In the back, where the forces are highest, the Tecton remains as stable and precise as an alpine bind-ing. The hold-down system with a non-turning alpine heel jaw and the rail transmits the power directly from the boot to the ski without any loss. The Tecton equals both the performance and the safety of alpine bindings. Any unwanted release is prevented by the long dynamic path. The binding reliably releases at the DIN setting. The easy step-in and the intuitive control provide security, especially in challenging terrain. The right mix of light high-tech synthetics and high-quality metal alloys provides superior stability at a low weight (only 550 g / unit).

Please refer to the Fritschi compatibility table! Here you can see if your ski boot is compatible with the binding.
Compatibility table

You are just ordering these bindings without the skis?
Please inquire which width your ski has in the middle.
If you are insecure or your ski is out of the designated widths, our ski hotline will advise you.
Depending on the ski boot size and sidecut of your ski, the mounting point of the binding may change and thus the width of the ski may differ below the stopper.

Technical data

Please refer to the Fritschi compatibility table! Here you can see if your ski boot is compatible with the binding.

The boot remains fixed

As an absolute exclusivity, the rail in the alpine heel engages in the back of the boot, secures it in the center and prevents a loss of power.

Heel unit remains laterally stable

Due to the solid, non-turning heel the power flow, unlike other pin bindings, is not interrupted by a rotating movement when the skis turn.

Direct contact boot-binding-ski

The alpine heel jaw is pressing the sole of the boot firmly against the heel plate, which is directly connected with the ski, and provides consistent direct traction.

Lateral release where it belongs for optimal performance

The pin binding with lateral release and DIN set-ting at the toe, where the lateral forces are acting in the event of a fall.

Releasing only if necessary

The long dynamic travel of 13 mm for the toe-cap prevents an unwanted release and cushions any lateral impact.

Front release with dynamic response

As in alpine bindings, when the DIN value is set, the front release occurs via a heel jaw with a dy-namic way of 9 mm. The reset force of the spring prevents a pre-release and compensates the high tensile forces on the leg in a forward fall.

Immediate release of the boot with front re-lease

After the release of the heel, the boot tips for-ward. Due to the pressure of the front of the boot on the Release Lever, the boot is also immedi-ately released by the toe unit.

Solid support while climbing and safety in an emergency

The boot is fixed and held in the middle, but the binding will release in response to high active forces.
Clamping systems must be blocked while climb-ing to ensure stability

Easy step-in

The tip of the boot is optimally positioned by means of a solid stop in front and a positioning guide. Responding to slight pressure, the system closes with the pin levers engaging precisely in the inserts.
The sequence of movements is comparable with that of an alpine binding.

Easy operation means more than comfort

Switching from downhill to uphill mode and vice versa is very simple without having to step out of the binding. The three ergonomically walk mode levels can also be changed in no time with a pole

Swiss made – designed and made to last

Sustainability has always been a priority of Fritschi’s corporate culture and is part of the day-to-day work of the entire team. The careful use of resources begins with the development. The design and the selection of materials are based on durability.
