The high-performance touring binding for every use will be technically revised for the 2022/23 season, reinforced with carbon and given a new design with modern color variants.
The Vipec Evolution brings significantly more performance in every phase of a ski tour with lots of reserves for challenging terrain and difficult conditions. It manages this through its extremely easy handling and emergency release for ascents, lots of power for descents and a reliable release only if really necessary.
The easy step-in and the practical use of all functions provide security, especially in challenging terrain. The prompt release based on the preset values and the prevention of unwanted releases by the long dynamic path help to reduce injuries to a minimum. In downhill skiing, the higher forces are transmitted in the back. The Vipec Evo is equipped with a solid heel, same as alpine bindings. As a result, it allows a much more dynamic and safer style of skiing downhill. The right mix of light high-tech synthetics and high-quality metal alloys provides superior stability at a low weight (only 500 g / unit).

Like alpine bindings, it is equipped with a solid non-turning heel and ensures in the back, where the highest forces are acting in downhill skiing, an optimal traction.

Depending on the ski boot size and sidecut of your ski, the mounting point of the binding may change and thus the width of the ski may differ below the stopper.

The pin-binding with lateral release and DIN set-ting at the toe, where the lateral forces are acting in the event of a fall.
The long dynamic travel of 13 mm for the toe-cap prevents an unwanted release and cushions any lateral impact.
After the release of the heel, the boot tips for-ward. Due to the pressure of the front of the boot on the Release Lever, the boot is also immedi-ately released by the toe unit.
The boot is fixed and held in the middle, but the binding will release in response to high active forces. Clamping systems must be blocked while climb-ing to ensure stability
The tip of the boot is optimally positioned by means of a solid stop in front and a positioning guide. Responding to slight pressure, the system closes with the pin levers engaging precisely in the inserts. The sequence of movements is comparable with that of an alpine binding.
Switching from downhill to uphill mode and vice versa is very simple without having to step out of the binding. The three ergonomically walk mode levels can also be changed in no time with a pole. No other pin binding offers this level of comfort in all functions.
Due to the solid, non-turning heel the power flow, unlike other pin bindings, is not interrupted by a rotating movement when the skis turn.
