If you’re looking for an all-mountain freeride touring ski that is as good at railing turns in your favorite resort as it is sending steep couloirs in the backcountry, the Krumpe is the ski for you.
NEOTERIC DESIGN provides maximum precision, control and power. A long, high nose initiates turns easily and floats effortlessly in powder. NO MORE LEANING BACK! Flat tail adds greater control, stability and amazing power through the end of your turn. FIBERGLASS/POPLAR MEDIUMLIGHT CONSTRUCTION makes this a solid and responsive touring ski. Fiberglass reinforced underfoot for power and control. Carbon X-band is an innovative new technology developed by OGSO that transfers the skier’s energy through the ski to provide torsional stiffness, immediate response and make the ski extremely reactive. Vibration reducer band made from aramid, basalt and carbon is an innovative new technology developed by OGSO that gives a solid, quiet feel. Ultra-high molecular speed base made from sintered polyethylene provides fast glide and outstanding durability. Short camber makes this ski extremely agile and very forgiving for fun, short-turn carving.

NEOTERIC CAMBER FIBER GLASS MEDIUM LIGHT (NEO ML)
The NEOTERIC lets you feel the complete ski from tip to tail at all times, it has more surface that is in contact with the snow. In combination with the MEDIUMLIGHT GLASSFIBER CONSTRUCTION it provides supplementary stability and enabling higher speed, keeping the ski steady and almost anchored to the snow. When skiing you get more the traditional ski feeling. Turns come even and regular. The extensive surface contact guarantees a domination of snow. The BALANCED-FLEX has been engineered to accentuate the neoteric camber giving a feeling that is evolutionary. Any snow or mountain is welcome always having a strong, stable, powerful and active ski experience with immense grip and control.. The neoteric has an early and proportional high front rise that reduces the risk of the tip plunging into the snow, thus permitting you to ski relaxed at midpoint. CONSTRUCTED with two layers of Fiberglass on top a poplar wood core and underneath two layers of Fiberglass. Strengthened in the upper middle and below the foot by additional phenol-plates inlayed to reinforce the screws of the bindings, an X-tape of newest carbon fiber and a ribbon of carbon-kevlar in the tip. Manufactured where all fiber layers, above and below, completely traverse the ski covering the sidewalls, this technic adds a lot of strength.
Krumpe Couloir - Oetztal Soelden/ Austria
The ascent starts in Soelden. You can climb up to the gaislachkogels to 3100m, or take the cable car Krumpe means something like “bent gully”, but attention there are 250m included that are quite steep.
