A high-end men's mountaineering shell jacket with durably waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Pro technology.

The men's mountaineering hard shell, developed in close cooperation with mountain guides and professional alpinists, consists of waterproof and extremely breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro (water column: 28,000 mm/ RET <6 m2Pa/W) with strategically placed GORE-TEX ® Pro stretch inserts that give you a whole new level of freedom of movement. The body-hugging design has an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment and a zippered gusset at the back, which allows you to easily reduce the volume if necessary. Salewa has included a number of pockets specifically designed for mountain activities, including two large, high-level chest pockets that are harness-accessible, direct access to inner layers, and an inner stretch-mesh pocket for spare gloves. Velcro adjustable cuffs slip over the gloves to keep the sleeves in place when you need to do long stretches or use gear. The jacket also has generous underarm ventilation.
