Völkl Revolt 90 22/23 Freeski
The Park Specialist, "Built Together" with the Völkl Slopestyle Pros.
In its third generation, the Völkl Pro Team led by Andri Ragettli, Birk Ruud, Nick Goepper and many others is releasing the Revolt in two different center widths. The Revolt 90 is three millimeters wider and definitely more versatile than its predecessor - which is certainly due to the new construction as well as the modified sidecut. Inside the Revolt is the Light Swingweight wood core. This construction reduces the weight in the ski ends and concentrates it on the center, making the ski much easier to rotate in the air with greater control. For use in the park, the sidewall of the ski is equipped with an additional layer. This improves stability and increases the durability of the ski. In general, the Revolt is super smooth to ride, thanks to Tip & Tail Rocker go Nose Butters or Tail Press almost by itself.
The new, absolutely unique design comes in this year's edition of "Built Together" by Chinese artist King Rhomberg. His designs can be found on the entire freestyle collection.

The core consists of a lightweight, vibration-damping wooden core that ensures agile handling and low weight.
"Cap Sidewall" refers to a specific construction technology for skis. It is a combination of cap construction and sidewalls.
- Cap construction: In this construction method, a cap covers the top of the ski, while the sides of the ski are rather flat. This construction allows for lighter, more agile skiing as the ski is more flexible and bends more easily.
- Sidewalls: Traditionally, the sides of a ski are reinforced with a sidewall construction, where the sides of the ski run vertically. This provides better power transmission and stability at higher speeds and on hard slopes.
By combining cap construction and sidewalls in one ski (Cap Sidewall), the advantages of both technologies are united. The ski retains the lightness and maneuverability of a cap construction while offering the stability and control of a sidewall construction. This makes the ski versatile and suitable for different skiing styles and terrain conditions.
"Tough Sidewall Construction" refers to a robust sidewall construction on skis. With this construction, the sides of the ski are reinforced to ensure increased durability, stability and edge grip.
- Robustness: Tough Sidewall Construction makes the ski more resistant to bumps, stones and other damage that can occur on the piste. This makes the ski more durable and less susceptible to scratches or cracks.
- Stability: The reinforced sidewalls ensure improved stability of the ski, especially at higher speeds and in demanding conditions. This enables precise and controlled handling.
- Edge grip: A robust sidewall construction also improves the ski's edge grip on hard snow conditions. This means that the ski grips better in turns and offers better control and performance.
Overall, the Tough Sidewall Construction offers a solid and reliable ski construction that is particularly suitable for skiers who value durability, stability and precision.
Twintip construction for skiing/landing backwards.
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on the top of the Völkl line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.
BRUSHED base structure on flat skis with wider widths Superficial & shallow structure matches with wide skis and their bigger bearing face › optimum agility & turning characteristics.
- Less catching
- Easier & smooth turn initiation
Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
