Product description

**A ski for demanding freeride girls who take things to the limits under any conditions and want a ski they can rely on all the way from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the valley **

– and which leaves them with enough left in the tank to party hard at the après ski. Take a pinch of the powder-loving Secrets 102, add a little of the Kenya 88’s piste expertise, and you get the deliciously versatile combination of the Secret 96. A tailored Titanal frame and tailored carbon tips give this ski the same composure, but make it a little lighter. A 3D radius sidecut lets you master turns on any terrain, and a 96 mm waist can cope with almost any depth of snow without impairing performance in either direction. If you’re the type of person who’s ready to embrace almost any conditions, then the Secret 96 is the ski for you.

Multilayer Woodcore
Multilayer Woodcore:

The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.

3D Radius Sidecut
3D Radius Sidecut:

Three radii in one ski for macimum truning and speed versatility in AllMountain skiing.

LONG TIP & TAIL RADIUS Usage of long radii at tip and tail for big turns and high speed

  • easy steering and maneuverability
  • disruption resistant at the tip
  • no radius limitation and ease of turn exit

TIGHT CENTER RADIUS Usage of shorter radius in the center for short turns and lower speed

  • extremely easy to initiate short turns
  • strikingly agile
  • effortless and smooth in short turns
Full Sidewall
Full Sidewall:

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.

Tailored Titanal Frame
Tailored Titanal Frame:

The new Völkl key technology is called Tailored Titanal Frame. In contrast to the previous design, the width of the titanal frame is now adapted exactly to each individual ski length.

This results in Tailored Titanal Frames, which are positioned above the sidewall along the tip and tail area of the ski to provide the desired damping and torsional stiffness. The size of the frames is tailored to the skier's height, skiing ability and power. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski.

Tailored Carbon Tips
Tailored Carbon Tips:

In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.

P-Tex 2100
P-Tex 2100:

A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Base structure: Brushed structure
Base structure: Brushed structure:

BRUSHED base structure on flat skis with wider widths Superficial & shallow structure matches with wide skis and their bigger bearing face › optimum agility & turning characteristics.

  • Less catching
  • Easier & smooth turn initiation
Tip & Tail Rocker
Tip & Tail Rocker:

Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
