POC is a Swedish company with a strong mission to do the best we can to possibly save lives and to reduce the consequences of accidents for gravity sports athletes and cyclists.
POC was founded in 2005 and made its first entry, addressing the ski racing market. The concepts, technologies, and materials used and implemented for the helmets and body armor were developed in close collaboration with POC Lab; POC’s scientific forum that consists of some of the world’s foremost sports medicine experts, brain scientists and specialists in spinal cord injuries. Together with the comitted employees in areas of industrial, fashion and graphic design, CAD and polymer engineers to communicators and marketers POC develops products with constant input and feedback from the team athletes that includes both X Games, Olympic and World Championship medalists. All together, the team athletes have won more than 50 medals in international contests. Throughout the years, POC has received more than 40 prestigious international safety, design, innovation and business awards.
