After the success of the ZEN series in 2020, Starboard has been able to expand this technology again for the new season. All ZEN boards are made with "LINEAR" drop stitch construction, where a linear alignment of the yarn, depending on the length of the board, ensures maximum stiffness and responsiveness. The linear drop stitch material ensures that the board can keep its shape better for a long time and that you will have fun with your Starboard SUP for many years. Starboard developed this material together with their producers and therefore uses this material exclusively at Starboard SUP. New are the high-quality, 2000D galvanized rail bands, which give the board even more stability. The tool-free fin is super quick and easy to assemble.
Incredibly fast outline and provides abundant stability. The + also stands for the squarer tail shape which makes turning incredibly easy. Ideal for lighter riders up to 100kg.
With only the best core essentials. Built with single layer Linear dropstitch making it even lighter and stiffer than before. This Linear knitted dropstitch was developed by Starboard with its supplier for Starboard use ONLY.
The Heat Welded rails create a complete airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. Making the board stronger and last longer.
Galvanized 2000D rails increase strength and stiffness.
The Double Chamber brings the inflatable boards one step closer to a hard board feeling. The Double Chamber stiffens the board significantly, thanks to the double side walls around the second chamber. This chamber also offers extra safety flotation for any emergencies.

Linear Dropstitch

Linear alignment of space yarns, oriented only in warp direction ( the direction of the board’s length), maximizing the stiffness and response.
Linear dropstich also secures the board’s shape better over time compared to standard knitted dropstitch.

Outline Shape
Narrow mid section & wide tail makes for faster glide, more stability, and easier to turn.
The shape also makes it easier to hold the paddle closer & vertical, which improves tracking and reduces the amount of times you have to switch the paddle from side to side when paddling.

Free lightweigt Leash
At only 70g, the leash is incredibly lightweight and discrete so that it doesn’t interfere when paddling.
Soft cushioning means it will compress and flatten when stood on.
Easy to attach to the leash ring without needing any excess rope loop like on most other leashes.
The leash cuff is made from Yulex, a natural rubber with 80% less carbon footprint than normal neoprene.
