The consistent further development of the GP1 stands for maximum hand comfort, optimal pressure distribution and the highest, pollutant-free material quality. With this Evo version of the award-winning comfort original, Ergon is setting a new benchmark for ergonomic, pain-free cycling on touring and fitness bikes. For the first time, design, development and production are “Made in Germany”. This enables an even more targeted and sustainable implementation of the claim to deliver the highest quality down to the smallest detail in shorter ways.

• Highest quality, short distances, more sustainability Design, development, manufacturing - everything on the GP1 Evo is “Made in Germany”. This guarantees the highest standards across all manufacturing processes: maximum product quality, short transport routes, fast delivery times and secure supply chains. By sourcing all raw materials from Germany and using almost exclusively recycled plastics, we also contribute to increased sustainability and produce almost waste-free.

• Free from harmful substances and SGS certified The unique LongLife rubber compounds in the GP1 Evo meet maximum quality standards, are free of harmful substances and have SGS certification. Even the German toy and food standards are met - a particularly important aspect for touring riders, as their hands often have direct skin contact with the handles for hours without gloves. Two adapted hardness levels of the rubber grip ensure the best cushioning comfort.

• Forged aluminum clamp for the perfect grip Extremely safe and easy to assemble: With just one screw, the handle is fixed to the handlebar and reliably protected from twisting. The high-quality, forged aluminum external clamp enables continuous, individual and ergonomically optimal adjustment of the sash angle. The screw of the slim clamp is located on the underside of the handle and is therefore out of the field of vision while driving.

• Precise laser textures for every grip area In a technically perfected manufacturing process, the GP1 Evo has modern surfaces that are perfectly adapted to the hand and the individual areas of the handle. The textures applied with laser are not only extremely precise, but also give the ergonomic hand flatterer a high-quality overall impression in addition to outstanding gripping comfort.

• Inner core made of recycled plastic with glass fibers The inner core plays a significant role in the performance and comfort of the GP1 Evo. It provides stability, dampens vibrations and ensures that the handle sits comfortably in the hand without losing its ergonomic shape or being compressed too much. In Ergon's new top wing handle, the inner core is made of recycled plastic, which we have reinforced with glass fibers.

• Quality seal for a better quality of life The GP1 Evo received the “Recommended” award according to the “Froböse Formula”. This scientifically based assessment method was developed by the respected university professor, health expert and best-selling author Prof. Dr. Ingo Froböse develops and serves as a quality seal for products in the exercise, nutrition and regeneration categories. The “Froböse Formula” acts as a guide that contributes to increased quality of life, health and comfort, even when it comes to cycling.

• Fits any circuit type Some models in the GP series are available in special versions for different circuits. For a regular shift, both handles are the same length. The version for Gripshift or Dual-Twist-Shift includes two shortened handles; for Rohloff, Nexus and Single-Twist-Shift only the handle on the right side is shortened.
