The top of the range build, the Crusher RR, is the only one with a Shimano XT Di2 chainset with ‘FREE SHIFT’. The Crusher RR has an Öhlins RXF 38 M.2 29 fork, a Shimano Deore XT Di2 chainset, Shimano Deore XT M8120 brakes, an ONOFF Pija dropper seatpost (with between 125mm - 200mm of travel depending on frame size) and Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR II 2.6” EXO+ tyres.

Back in 2017 Mondraker lit a bonfire under the e-MTB market with the world’s first full suspension, full carbon fibre framed e-MTB with an integrated battery: The Crusher. The all-new Crusher brings the essence of one of our star bikes, the Crafty, to the table by using the same geometry and kinematics. The Crusher is an enduro bike with 29” wheels, 150mm of rear wheel travel complimented by a 160mm fork, Shimano’s EP801 motor and an integrated 720Wh battery. Featuring 2.6” tyres and forks with burly 38mm stanchions on all three builds, the Crusher is aimed at aggressive enduro riding and long days in the saddle.

Stealth AIR Carbon Technology

Stealth AIR Carbon is Mondraker's most refined manufacturing process for lightweight carbon frames. Each layer of carbon is specifically and carefully processed and fulfills a precisely defined task at every point of the frame. This all results in the most elegant, sophisticated and advanced carbon frames in the Mondraker program. Groundbreaking industrial design, aero-style profiles and a maximum ratio of stiffness, lowest weight and performance are fundamental characteristics of Stealth AIR Carbon. Vibrations transmitted from the ground to the chassis are often overlooked. Filtering and controlling them is a critical skill, especially for high-quality carbon frames. There is no need to use additional elastomers in the seat stays to achieve unsurpassed riding comfort with a pure carbon hardtail.

Shimano Steps EP801 Motor

The Shimano top of the range EP8 (EP801) is a smarter drivetrain that offers superbly controllable high power with a maximum torque of 85Nm over a wider cadence range than ever before. The result is a harmonious power delivery and optimized control for a natural feel on the trail.
The revised Trail mode uses the entire 85 Nm of the EP8 drivetrain to support you comfortably, safely and reliably in difficult passages. The extremely versatile Shimano support mode is optimally tuned by default and requires no further adjustment. This allows you to tackle almost any trail. The harder you pedal, the more power the motor support provides.
This means that you are supported by the drive unit at exactly the right time and can rely on always having optimum traction and control. Whether it's loose sand or steep climbs in the mountains, the drive unit always adapts quickly and independently so that you can concentrate fully on the terrain.
With a weight of 2.6 kg, the EP8 drive unit is 300 grams lighter than previous models. This makes it one of the lightest drive units available on the market and offers the best performance in its class for its weight.
