The Dusty SX is based on the well-known Dusty, the e-gravel bike with Mondraker offroad genes, but optimized for urban "off-road" use. It's a city bike with off-road DNA that makes it the fastest daily commuter in town, but also the best choice for extended rides on the weekend. Asphalt. Trails. Adventure. You decide! The DUSTY platform stands for flexibility and reliability in any environment. The STEALTH AIR CARBON frame, the Mahle X20 hub motor and the permanently installed 350Wh battery are the key features of the DUSTY, which have been adapted to the urban use of the DUSTY SX by specially designed and painted in frame color aluminum fenders and 700x40C Maxxis Re-Fuse Semi Slicks.
Say hello to the new DUSTY SX R. The latest Mondraker URBAN CROSS bike is not only lighter, but also faster than anything you've ever known. Turn your daily commute into quality time on the bike and enjoy your weekend rides even more. All the features of the DUSTY are also found on the DUSTY SX. Internal cable routing, integrated chainstay protection and 2-speed compatibility are just a few highlights. The permanently installed 350Wh battery gives the DUSTY SX a range of up to 180km, which can be extended almost infinitely with the separately available 172Wh range extender. The DUSTY SX series consists of 2 models. The DUSTY SX R and the DUSTY SX RR, both based on the same STEALTH AIR CARBON frame and the Mahle X20 motor system with integrated 350Wh battery. The top model DUSTY SX RR is equipped with SRAM RIVAL ETAP AXS 1x12, Mavic Allroad Disc wheels, Maxxis 40mm Re-Fuse tires, ONOFF components and a Selle Royal Prestige saddle.

This ultra-compact, lightweight and intelligent drive system creates completely new riding possibilities. E-bikes can no longer be distinguished from high-performance bikes in terms of their look and appearance. The latest innovations create the best support at any cadence, whether riding at top speed or climbing a mountain. The X20 drive was developed to move e-bike riders and the entire industry forward. Weighing just 3.2 kg, including the drive unit, internal battery and head unit, the X20 is the lightest rear hub drive for e-bikes on the market. The X20 drive was developed and is assembled in Europe. With a torque of 55 Newton meters, it achieves a maximum performance level that is compatible with the European (25 km/h) and US (20 km/h) markets. Air resistance is completely eliminated when the maximum supported speed is exceeded and the rider is not penalized. The new internal batteries with a capacity of 236 Wh/350 Wh can be supplemented with a 172 Wh range extender to achieve an autonomy of up to 200 km. An intelligent fast-charging system with up to 4 amps charges the battery to 80% of its full capacity in less than 2 hours.
Mahle MySmartBike App
With the Mahle MySmartBike app, all 3 support levels are fully configurable and can be tailored to your own needs. Together with Mahle, however, Mondraker has preconfigured the 3 levels with specific tunes to make the experience as close as possible to that on a bike without drive, but with much more fun, range and power. Mondraker calls this concept WATTS ON DEMAND. These 3 principles are the basis for WATTS ON DEMAND:
- The unobtrusiveness of the system.
- Support according to graveling requirements.
- "Endless" range
Each support level has 3 parameters that can be set:
- Peak Power: The maximum power with which the system supports.
- Reactivity: The way in which the support starts.

- Acceleration: The progression of the maximum power. Based on this, mode 1 assists with 25%, mode 2 with 50% and mode 3 with up to 200%, depending on the torque applied by the rider. In contrast to other systems, the X20 system calculates the power addition based on the torque and not on the cadence. This results in power addition proportional to the power the rider applies, which in turn leads to a natural riding experience.

Increased safety on steep downhill sections: The front center is longer, which means that the front axle is further forward compared to an average standard geometry.This increases stability and reduces the risk of rollovers in steep and technically demanding passages. The perceived flatter angles ensure a confidence-inspiring riding experience.
Confidence at high speeds: The extended wheelbase improves the bike's stability on any surface.
Direct steering behavior: The combination with our self-developed FG30 stem improves steering precision and enables extremely agile handling.
More uphill precision: The longer front center keeps the front wheel better on the ground and prevents unwanted wheelies. This makes it easier to climb very steep sections.
Stability in technically demanding and difficult terrain: FG results in an improved balance between the front and rear wheel, which in turn leads to more traction and control and therefore more stability on technically demanding and rough terrain.
Stealth AIR Carbon Technology:
Stealth AIR Carbon is Mondraker's most refined manufacturing process for lightweight carbon frames. Each layer of carbon is specifically and carefully processed and fulfills a precisely defined task at every point of the frame. This all results in the most elegant, sophisticated and advanced carbon frames in the Mondraker program. Groundbreaking industrial design, aero-style profiles and a maximum ratio of stiffness, lowest weight and performance are fundamental characteristics of STEALTH AIR CARBON. Vibrations transmitted from the ground to the chassis are often overlooked. Filtering and controlling them is a critical skill, especially for high-quality carbon frames. There is no need to use additional elastomers in the seat stays to achieve unsurpassed riding comfort with a pure carbon hardtail.
