Innovations fascinated Francois Salomon from the first day on. When he founded the company Salomon with his son Georges at the age of fifty in 1947, while producing saw blades and ski edges in his workshop in Annecy, his eyes always kept on going forward.
His philosophy: "what fascinates me, is what I'm going to do tomorrow!" This principle hasn't changed ever since. Salomon has remained true to its roots. This applies to the headquarter in Annecy, France, as well as to the demand for the products.
Even today, the supplier stands for innovation. This is shown by a brief look into the company's history:
from a ski edge manufacturer to a complete outfitter for summer and winter.
